Gardener’s delight

I WAS intrigued by the hightech ways to grow tomatoes ( Femail). My office faced south and the sun beat through the windows from 9am until 5pm. After I said ‘ It’s so hot I could grow tomatoes!’, a colleague came in with two little plants.

They grew like triffids on the windowsill and I had to put them in big pots on the floor.

They nearly took over the office, but we all enjoyed a harvest of delicious toms.
