IT DOESN’T surprise me that British Gas can pay its boss £ 2.4 million ( Mail), when millions of people like me work for the firm for free.

We provide meter readings by email and pay over the internet. The meter reader has been made redundant.

British Gas should reduce our bills in recognition of the work we do on its behalf. NORMAN HEATH,
