‘Bullied out of my post’

Bullied? Anahid Kassabian MUSIC professor Anahid Kassabian broke her non-disclosure agreement so that others who had experienced ‘the same horrors’ would not feel alone or unable to speak.

The former Liverpool University academic said she was bullied out of the post she had held for ten years after being diagnosed with cancer.

The 59-year-old also has multiple sclerosis and fibromyalgia and believes her medical conditions led to her being treated like a burden and alleged no support was offered to help her with stress.

The University of Liverpool said: ‘We refute these allegations in the strongest possible terms. Miss Kassabian was not subject to discrimination.’
