Not so Marvellous

WHEN I was a boy my favourite superhero was Captain Marvel, who appeared whenever a young lad called Billy said the word ‘Shazam’.

When they started making films about superheroes, I couldn’t wait for the Captain Marvel film to be made. At long last, it has been released but, lo and behold, my superhero has turned into a woman who never says Shazam.

Another film has been made called Shazam, which depicts my superhero as a comical character. What a let-down.
