THE second of two dinner suits in a single lot by the designer Camilla Milton and made in the early 2000s. This is a cafe au lait satin design with a gilt spider web overlay, studded with pastes and composed of a dress and jacket. Lady Thatcher wore it (inset) to the unveiling of a bronze statue of herself in the House of Commons in 2007. She was the first British prime minister to be honoured this way during her lifetime.
