Actor Jack Fox tells of gunpoint mugging
AS THE scion of one of Britain’s most illustrious acting dynasties, Jack Fox enjoyed a privileged upbringing, but life hasn’t always been easy.
During his gap year after leaving £27,495-ayear King’s Canterbury, the 34-year- old —whose father is stage veteran James — reveals he was robbed at gunpoint on the Caribbean island of Antigua. ‘They walked me to a cashpoint. It was quite scary and full on,’ he tells the June issue of Tatler.
‘ But when you’re young you think you’re immortal.’
He then returned to London where his charmed life caused tension with his boss at Harrods.
‘He didn’t like me . . . Probably thought: “Stuck-up posh boy.” ’
