PICK OF THE DAY

KATE BECKINSALE has a strong track record in action films (see Underworld, Total Recall) and certainly looks comfortable running about with an AK-47 in tonight’s episode of Harry and Jack Williams’s drama. Georgia (Beckinsale, pictured right) is using the barrel of the famously robust assault rifle to get answers about her husband, but will they lead where she wants? While Georgia tears about, the emotional weight of the story is left to Alex Kingston’s Judith, who is lost in memory and whose motivations are poignantly revealed by the end of tonight’s instalment.
