‘Big 3’ mobile networks are rated worst

-

BRITAIN’S three biggest mobile phone operators are being outperformed by their smaller rivals, research shows.

Customers rated Vodafone the worst network in the country, with 18 per cent reporting poor customer service.

Some 13 per cent said its technical support was poor, while 19 per cent rated the company as poor value for money.

EE saw 13 per cent of its customers rating it as poor value for money and only a quarter said it was good or excellent for technical support. While 10 per cent of O2 customers told the survey by Which? that it provided poor value for money.

However, Giffgaff achieved the highest ranking, with 95 per cent saying it offered good or excellent value for money.

Vodafone said: ‘We are working hard to understand the issue and what more we can do.’ An EE spokesman said: ‘Ofcom’s latest figures also show that EE receives among the fewest complaints in the mobile industry.’
