Eggheads star: I am dying of Aids

FORMER Eggheads star CJ de Mooi has revealed he is dying of Aids and on the verge of homelessness.

The 49-year-old, pictured, was a panellist on the BBC show but was sacked in 2016 after false claims he sexually assaulted a man on a night out. Writing on Twitter, he said: ‘I’ve been living with Aids for 30 years but the agony of the last three years means I may not have many left.’

Mr de Mooi, who lives with his husband in Wales, was declared bankrupt last year and risks losing his house. A crowdfunding campaign has been set up.
