Are you Norman in disguise, DJ?

i’vE REMARKED before on the similarities between Dustin Johnson and Greg Norman and they are becoming ever more pronounced. Like the Australian in his era, Johnson (top right) has dominated the world rankings over the last two years without losing that frailty. Norman won 20 times on the PGA Tour, which happens to be the number that Johnson has won — and given their gifts both will feel they have left trophies out there. Norman finished runner-up eight times in majors and Johnson’s second at the Masters was the seventh time he has finished in the top four. Aged 34, Norman had one major to his name, and, yes, that is how many the American has won at the same age. Like the Queenslander, Johnson will win at least one more, enjoying a bullet-proof week like Norman (right) did at the 1993 Open that leaves you wondering why they ever looked so fragile.
