FIVE fouls on Mo before ref blew
NEIL WARNOCK is right. Sean Morrison’s hassling of Mo Salah in Cardiff’s match with Liverpool wasn’t a penalty: it was about five of them.
It was a penalty when he held him with one arm, a penalty when he held him with the other, a third when he had both around him, a fourth when he pushed down on his shoulders, a fifth when he pulled him back, but it was only when Salah sank to the floor that Martin Atkinson, the referee, responded correctly and gave a foul.
That is no doubt why Salah felt the need to fall. If referees did their jobs, there would be a lot less diving.
