‘In need of my glam squad!’ Susanna’s natural selfie ahead of her TV makeover
SHE graces the nation’s television screens with carefully coiffed hair and perfectly porcelain skin.
But Susanna Reid, 48, has admitted even she needs a bit of help getting ready, after sharing a makeup free selfie.
The presenter showed off her natural beauty ahead of her return to ITV’s Good Morning Britain after the Easter break.
Posting the picture on social media, she wrote: ‘BACK! And in need of my glam squad! See you on @GMB tomorrow 6am (This is what happens when my hair dries naturally...)’
Her fresh face could be the result of her decision to go teetotal last year. Miss Reid gave up alcohol after a doctor warned her about her growing BMI. She has since shed two stone and says there have been other benefits.
‘Seven months on my skin isn’t perfect but it’s clearer’, she revealed. ‘And so is my head. I am sleeping better.
Although happy to be photographed without makeup, the presenter yesterday insisted that she would never let her hair go grey.
When shown an artist’s impression of how she could look in 2040, with wrinkles and grey hair, the presenter said: ‘ I will never knowingly be without hair dye, so I’d just like to point out that’s not going to happen.’
