Quake shakes rooftop pool
WATER from a skyscraper’s rooftop pool fell on pedestrians in the street below after a powerful earthquake rocked the Philippines yesterday.
Thousands of gallons of water poured from the top of the Anchor Skysuites, a 56-floor tower block in the centre of Manila.
Several people are thought to have been killed after the 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck across the country’s northern Luzon island.
