Gargling gin

MY WIFE bought me a 300ml bottle of a well-known mouthwash — there may have been some hidden meaning!

It cost just over £5; by volume this is the same as a bottle of supermarket gin — 30 per cent of which is excise duty.

What a rip- off. I’m faced with two dilemmas: shall I switch to gin as a mouthwash and should I spit it out after gargling?
