WEST HAM LOSE BID OVER CLASH WITH WOMEN’S FINAL

THE PREMIER LEAGUE have rejected West Ham’s bid to bring their Southampton clash forward so more of their fans can attend the women’s FA Cup final later on the same day. Manuel Pellegrini’s men host Southampton at 3pm on Saturday May 4 before Matt Beard’s WSL side face Manchester City in their first ever cup final at 5.30pm at Wembley. The club had asked the Premier League for Southampton’s visit to start at 12.30pm.
