Scary finally shows up and it’s all sweetness and light in Spice World
IF there was any bad blood between the Spice Girls, there was no sign of it yesterday when the four finally got together for rehearsals. After all, there’s a lucrative tour starting next month.
Mel B – Melanie Brown – arrived in London and headed straight to the studio to meet Geri Horner, 46, Emma Bunton, 43, and Mel C – Melanie Chisholm, 45.
It was feared that the decision by Mel B – or Scary Spice – to spend a week rehearsing on her own at home in Los Angeles meant there was still tension in the band following her claims that back in the 1990s she had a lesbian fling with Miss Horner.
Miss Bunton, who has said Mel B, 43, had stayed in LA ‘because she’s still got commitments’, shared a Twitter video of the band apparently enjoying rehearsals together.
Miss Horner has denied Mel B’s claim of a romantic liaison and called it hurtful.
