THE DANGER SIGNS

INITIAL symptoms of measles include sore, red eyes that can be sensitive to light, a fever, aches, and small greyish-white spots in the mouth.

These are followed by a blotchy rash. Most sufferers recover after about ten days but complications can include pneumonia, encephalitis (inflammation of the brain) and deafness.
