‘Clear the air talks held with Harry and Meghan’

-

WILLIAM and Kate went to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with a house-warming gift on Easter Sunday in a bid to ease tensions between them.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had been in Norfolk for the school holidays and were not around when Harry and Meghan moved from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage at Windsor.

So when the Cambridges joined the Queen for church, the Sussexes – who are expecting their first baby any day – invited them to their newly renovated home. It is believed that Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland was there too, as she is staying for up to a month to help her daughter. Royal sources said William and Kate spent an hour having tea and a tour – and took a gift.

They denied reports that the meeting was ‘brokered’ by Kate to try to repair the brothers’ relationship. Officials make no attempt to deny that there have been difficulties between the couples, especially between the two princes as their roles diverge.

It is expected that the Cambridges will visit Harry and Meghan again when the baby arrives. However, royal sources say the ‘Fab Four’ – as William, Kate, Harry and Meghan had been dubbed – will not be resurrected.
