Trump changes his tune

DONALD Trump said yesterday that children must ‘get their shots’ – despite having once linked vaccines to autism.

He appears to have dropped his opposition after a resurgence of measles saw nearly 700 cases reported across 22 US states. Mr Trump said: ‘Vaccinations are so important.’ He previously met anti-vaccination campaigners, including discredited British doctor Andrew Wakefield, and in 2014 tweeted: ‘Healthy child goes to doctor, gets pumped with massive shot of many vaccines, doesn’t feel good and changes – AUTISM.’
