DON’T LET LATE FROST BITE

-

FROST is possible until late May, so tender plants are still at risk outdoors. Have fleece handy (pictured) to spread over your vulnerable plants overnight. If you have already planted summer bedding or tender plants, fleece will be essential. Baby plants have few reserves, so are vulnerable even to a touch of pre-dawn frost. If you have recently bought tender plants, harden them off for a week or two before planting them out in the open.
