Bonuses in the spotlight
THE row over bosses’ bonuses could boil over this week as some of the FTSE 100’s top pay packets are put to shareholder votes.
On Wednesday focus will fall on both a £55m bonus Ocado founder Tim Steiner will receive if he doubles the share price over five years and Persimmon chief executive Dave Jenkinson’s £25m pay packet.
Investors at Barclays have also been urged to vote down chief Jes Staley’s £3.4m pay.
Persimmon said its pay followed best practice.
