KUBICA PENALTY PILES ON WILLIAMS AGONY

WILLIAMS’ dreadful season hit a new low yesterday. Starting from the pit lane after crashing in qualifying, Robert Kubica was given a drive-through penalty during the race for being in position nine minutes early prior to the start. The Pole’s bad timing ended him with him finishing last and followed George Russell’s bad luck on Friday. The Brit’s car was wrecked during practice when he drove over a loose drain cover. The truck taking it back to the garage hit a bridge, damaging the crane, which covered the car in hydraulic fluid.
