Seen yesterday as filming began on the 25th James Bond movie, star Daniel Craig looked a little grey.
Hardly surprising for a man of 51, but maybe not how we picture our hero. And certainly quite different from the dark blond of his first outing in 2006’s Casino Royale.
Craig – in Jamaica to film scenes which see Bond called out of retirement to rescue a kidnapped scientist – has bumped off 80 people in his previous four films as 007.
But he’s still far from being the deadliest Bond. His predecessor Pierce Brosnan holds the record, notching up 135 deaths during his own four-film run.
Roger Moore is second with 90 kills, followed by Craig, then Sean Connery (72) and Timothy Dalton (23). George Lazenby managed five in his one film.
