Bodies of 2 women ‘found in freezer’
THE discovery of two dead women – reportedly found stuffed into a freezer – has sparked a murder investigation.
Police said they found the bodies after breaking into a ground-floor flat on Friday following concerns raised about the occupant. Detectives were still working to carry out formal identification of the victims and trace their next of kin yesterday. Forensics officers were seen carrying sealed evidence bags out of the flat in Canning Town, east London. Raymond Dredge, 52, who lives in an adjacent council block, said an Asian man in his 30s lived alone in the property.
He added: ‘To hear there were two women in the freezer, it does shock me. He used to bring a lot of girls back.’
There have been no arrests.
