Dame Helen immortalised in a rather outre cocktail!

OSCAR and Olivier award-winning star Dame Helen Mirren received an unlikely honour at the weekend.

During her spring holiday in New Orleans, where she popped along to the city’s Jazz & Heritage Festival with her husband, film director Taylor Hackford, the 73-year-old actress was treated to a special libation at a local watering hole called Pal’s Lounge.

Sharing a snap on social media of herself nursing a drink whose orange hue matched her top, she explained: ‘Enjoying a divine cocktail called A Helen F***ing Mirren at one of the coolest local bars.’
