POCH MISSING FUN OF THE FAIR

MAURICIO Pochettino (below) is still moaning about the unfairness of Tottenham being made to play before their Champions League semi-final against Ajax. Why can’t the managers of the Premier League elite, the clubs with all the advantages of wealth and size, understand? There is nothing unfair about equal treatment for all. There is nothing unfair about the biggest clubs being obligated to fulfil their fixture list. There is nothing unfair about a league organised for the benefit of 20, not six, or two. Spurs have strived for decades to be one of the powerhouses of English football. Gradually, they have arrived. So this is what everyone wanted. This is what it’s like at the top. Stop complaining and get on with it.
