WILDER DESERVES BOSS OF THE YEAR
THeRe are many contenders for Manager of the Year and, as usual, the winner will come from the top of the Premier league. Yet nobody has got more bang for their buck than Chris Wilder (right) at sheffield United. It is an incredible feat to go up from such a competitive league. If Jurgen Klopp wins a first Premier league title at liverpool he will beat it — but not by much. IT COULD be a very special end to the season for Tottenham, if they overcome Ajax to reach the Champions League final. A magnificent achievement. Do not forget, though, with the defeat by West Ham they have now lost to eight of the top 11 teams in the Premier League — nine of 12 including Crystal Palace in the FA Cup — and their 12 defeats this season is the poorest performance of any third-placed team since the competition was played over 38 matches. They must improve the squad next season, because the European run is obscuring serious weaknesses.
