March of housing

IT’S not just the British Legion that is demolishing its clubhouses to build houses (Mail). In my area, the Church of England is to demolish a church hall, church club, bowling green and guide hut for house building.

Where did common sense go? I have donated to the Legion in the past, but will consider whether or not to do so in the future. S. WOODCOCK, Preston, Lancs.
