THE Freeview premiere for season two of the big and slyly funny U.S. superhero drama opens with Oliver’s city in chaos, his company on the verge of a hostile takeover (by a delightful­ly icy Summer Glau, pictured) and vigilantes es everywhere. FAMILY TREE Who Do You Think You Are? USA, 9pm, W

AS THE new series continues, Will & Grace’s Megan Mullally (pictured right) traces her family history. What she knows is bleak. Her dad (‘big trouble’) was an alcoholic, as were his dad and grandfathe­r — the latter took his own life in 1925. It’s a dark starting point, and there’s more to come.

BRIT SITCOM Dead Pixels, 9.30pm, E4

MEG has an emotional breakthrou­gh in the last episode of the gaming comedy as she manages to hug her flatmate (Charlotte Ritchie) and call her ‘friend’. All this emotion must be a consequenc­e of the game she’s been playing coming to an end, and a Meg has a plan to make it go with a bang — but it doesn’t all go quite as she expects.

HORROR FLICK The Party Crasher, 10.10pm, Sky Premiere

GGOOFY and gory horror in which a college ffraternit­y’s Hawaiianth­emed party descends into gnarly carnage when an ancient evil entity is unwittingl­y unleashed.

SPY DRAMA Berlin Station, 10.15pm, More4

AFTER a gripping first two episodes of its second series, the pace of the spy thriller slackens tonight. We’re back in Berlin and the focus is on Valerie (Michelle Forbes), who is also working undercover to infiltrate the far right, but her methods differ greatly from Daniel’s. Meanwhile, B.B. mixes work and pleasure.
