McCABE WANTS TO SELL... BUT NOT TO PRINCE

-

SHEFFIELD UNITED’S long-serving chairman Kevin McCabe is determined to sell the club and step down but is fighting to prevent Saudi co-owner Prince Abdullah from seizing control. McCabe (right) fulfilled an ambition by leading the Blades back into the Premier League after a 12year exile. But he and Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud have been embroiled in a legal wrangle, and their case is scheduled to start in the High Court next week. Meanwhile, the Blades are expected to retain Manchester United keeper Dean Henderson on another year-long loan.
