WARNOCK HIT BY £20,000 FINE FOR ‘WORST REF’ JIBE

NEIL WARNOCK has been fined £20,000 by the Football Association for his outburst about the Premier League having the world’s worst match officials following Cardiff’s loss to Chelsea. Warnock’s comments in interviews with the BBC and Sky Sports were found to be improper as he ‘questioned the integrity of the match official’ and ‘implied bias’. He was also charged after a talkSPORT interview for ‘bringing the game into disrepute’.
