Order! Bercow gets down to penning his memoirs

Daily Mail - - Life -

CONSOLING news for those who yearn to see John Bercow sail off into the proverbial sunset, if not eternal darkness.

The elfin speaker has, I can disclose, been taken on by a literary agent whose task is to find a publisher for his memoirs.

Bercow, 56, who previously insisted that he would stand down by June last year — nine years after his appointment as speaker — only to ‘reconsider’, explaining that he would stay on to ‘ see Brexit through’, is uncharacteristically dumbstruck when asked for details. ‘No comment,’ says his spokeswoman. Unlock!
