James Wilson’s father died in South Africa in the Sixties, James was on holiday in Spain. He quickly made arrangements to fly home via the Canary Islands, where he joined up with his brother-in-law. At the airport they bought a postcard to send to James’s sister in the Netherlands. The picture showed people walking on a beach. One of them was James’s father.
