TERRIERS’ HOME ROT

HUDDERSFIELD’S season has gone from poor to downright awful. They were relegated before the clocks went forward and have won only once since November. It could get even worse. The Terriers have lost 14 games at home this season and if they lose to Manchester United tomorrow they will equal the record for the most home defeats in a season in the 130-year history of the English top flight. This ignominious record is held by Blackpool in 1966-67 and Stoke in 1984-85.
