In step, Stacey and Kevin out together for the first time
MAYBE it’s the buzz of the bank holiday weekend or the caffeine hit.
Whatever it is that’s putting a smile on their faces, Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton seemed to be enjoying themselves yesterday after they were spotted together for the first time since going public on their romance.
It’s been less than a month since the BBC presenter’s ex-boyfriend hit out at ‘rat’ Clifton – but the Strictly Come Dancing champions looked carefree as they stepped out for a Sunday morning stroll through London, take-away coffees in hand.
It comes after Miss Dooley, 2, appeared to confirm her relationship with professional dancer Clifton, 6, when she posted a picture of the pair smiling together just over a week ago.
The new snaps are unlikely to impress Sam Tucknott, Miss Dooley’s ex-boyfriend of three years, who last month claimed she had ditched him for ‘slippery snake’ Clifton after they became close on the BBC One show.
He claimed that Clifton, who has three marriages behind him, had sent Miss Dooley intimate messages while they were still together.
He said: ‘Stacey has broken my heart, but of course I still love her and I wish her every success. My anger is with Kevin. It’s more like Strictly Come Dating – year in, year out.’
Following Mr Tucknott’s tell-all interview with The Mail on Sunday, Miss Dooley tweeted: ‘Anyone with any adult life experience knows there are two sides to every story. I haven’t got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I’ve read on here.’
