WHAT’S NOW & HOW TO DO IT... DRY SHAMPOO

-

IT’S dry shampoo, but not as we know it. Already a must-have for prolonging blow-dries, check out these innovative updates… For very fine hair, try dabbing with Styledry’s blotting papers, (Blot & Go, £9.95, harveynichols. com), or its solid Dry Shampoo Compact Powder (£14.95). Non-aerosol versions, such as Rahua Voluminous Dry Shampoo (below left, £30, net-a-porter. com), suit thicker hair and create great texture. For shiny coloured hair, try Innersense Refresh Dry Shampoo (centre, £22, cultbeauty.co.uk). Or, to reshape curls or waves in between washes, use Aveda Rinseless Refresh (left, £24, aveda.co.uk). But Craig Taylor, creative director at hair salon Hari’s, has a dry shampoo warning: ‘Use too much too close to the scalp, and it won’t work.’
