Teenage warriors

-

THE climate change crisis has come as a godsend for teenagers who are serial complainers. They can blame their parents for the state of the planet. Apparently, while the adults were earning a living to keep a roof over our heads and raise our families, we were neglectful of Mother Earth and it fell into disrepair.

Scientists tell us we’ve got only 12 years to put our planet in order. I don’t know what will happen if we fail: will we get an extension like Brexit or be rehomed on another planet?

The ecological crisis is so bad schoolchildren have had to step in to try to sort it out. They’ve even had to skip school — just think how cheesed off they must be about that.

But isn’t it just the sheer amount of people who are to blame for increased atmospheric pollution, dwindling wildlife and less space for man and beast? No one seems to protest about that.
