AjAx last won a home Champions League match on October 23 this season. They last won a home game in a Champions League knockout round on March 20, 1996. And while history may be bunk, Ajax’s results at home in Europe this season suggest they are a better counter-attacking unit away. They have the advantage tomorrow night, of course — but Tottenham can very much travel in hope.
