Kier finance chief leaves
KIER Group shares fell after it said the finance boss who led it through a disastrous fundraising last year will leave.
Bev Dew, 48, has been finance director for four years and will step down by the end of September, shortly after the construction contractor releases its annual results. Kier, which has contracts for major infrastructure projects such as Crossrail, has already kicked off a search for his successor.
Dew’s departure comes weeks after new boss Andrew Davies launched a review to cut debt and simplify the company’s structure. Shares fell 1.3pc, or 4.6p, to 358.4p.
