GARDENERS’ WORLD, 8.30PM, BBC2
ANYONE fancy a tomato? Monty Don (pictured right) should have a few spare in a couple of months. He’s planting them out tonight at Longmeadow, as well as continuing work in his paradise garden and revealing plans for a big new project. Meanwhile, Adam Frost, Carol Klein and Frances Tophill present the highlights of the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, checking out the show gardens and the floral marquee. There’s also a visit to a Cambridgeshire garden dedicated to preserving rare plants, and a look at a city plot that successfully defies limited space to create a beautiful woodland garden.
