THE outgoing boss of B&Q owner Kingf i s h e r has seen her pay package swell to £1.8m despite plunging profits.
Kingfisher’s annual report revealed that chief executive Veronique Laury’s overall pay rose by £188,600 or 12pc in the year to January 31. The 53year-old topped up her £795,800 base salary with a bonus of £522,000, shares worth £333,700, pension contributions of £99,500 and other perks. The bumper pay came despite a 52.8pc plunge in annual pretax profits to £322m.
