PLUG-IN AIR FRESHENERS

PLUg-in air fresheners are made from multiple plastics, making them impossible to recycle. Also the fragrance compound is dissolved in a solvent which releases chemicals including VOCs.

ALTERNATIVE: Mix a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda, with a teaspoon of vinegar (or lemon juice) and two cups of hot water in a spray bottle and spray in the air.
