SOMERSET SAIL THROUGH

SOMERSET eased to a 147-run victory in their Royal London One-Day Cup play-off against Worcestershire. Tom Banton hit 112 as Somerset posted 338 then Azhar Ali took five for 34 as the hosts mustered only 190 in reply. Lancashire beat Middlesex by 20 runs, with opener Keaton Jennings making 96. In tomorrow’s semi-finals, Lancashire go to Hampshire and Nottinghamshire host Somerset.
