-

WHILE the rest of the Big Six strive for greatness, the phrase ‘after the Lord Mayor’s Show comes the dustcart’ springs to mind for Manchester United’s season finale at Old Trafford. But let’s have a reality check from Cardiff’s point of view. Look at what they went through with the Emiliano Sala tragedy, even after starting the season as odds-on favourites for the drop to the Championship. Neil Warnock’s side gave it a go. Because he has been promoted eight times in his career. He can be the right man to lead them back again. It’s about evolving and perhaps playing a different style of football. Let’s see what happens this summer but Cardiff will want to get back into the top flight. Warnock pulled it off with them once, so let’s see if he can do it again.
