Is it time for Theresa May to step down?

-

WHY do MPs need to know just when Theresa May is going? She has always said she will see us leave the EU before she does go. Those MPs who are acting like a pack of savage hounds are a disgrace. Personally, I don’t want to see Theresa May go, but if she does then at least she has been honest with us and has stood her ground in the EU negotiations. SHIRLEY GARRAD, Braunton, Devon. I AM sorry, Mrs May, you have worked hard, but you have failed. Hand over to someone who is committed to Brexit and let’s free ourselves of this mess and the EU as soon as possible.

D. SAUNDERS, Ringmer, E. Sussex. HAS Theresa May super-glued herself inside Number Ten?

G. A. NORDEN, Knutsford, Cheshire. THERESA MAY has said she will go soon. In fact, she would have gone already except for the disloyal ERG MPs deciding their precious version of Brexit should be attained at all costs and not caring if the Tory Party is destroyed in the process. I don’t believe any of the contenders for the Tory leadership will succeed as the new leader because they have shown that they can’t put the country’s best interest before their own selfish ambitions. ROGER FOWNES, Bromsgrove, Worcs. THERESA MAY deserves an award for all the hard work and effort she is putting into trying to negotiate a fair deal. I hope she remains as Prime Minister. She is one of the few politicians who has integrity and concern for the people. I certainly would not vote for any of the other flagrantly disloyal Tories. Do they think they could do any better? Shame on them.

VALERIE STEMP, Ruislip, Middlesex.
