It’s the EU lottery

-

AS A Brexiter, I am really looking forward to the Eu elections. As the cost of £164 million is equivalent to one £2.50 EuroMillions lottery ticket per person in the uK, I consider it will be money well spent.

If I had won the lottery, I would have had my winnings long ago. I was on the winning side in the referendum, but have been treated as though I was on the losing side ever since. I can’t wait for the results of the Eu elections, just to see the look on the faces of news presenters, luvvies and Remainer MPs. ERIC CRAGGS, Shildon, Co. Durham. I AM A retired sales manager and if I had been given three years to plan a product launch and dismally failed, then the company would ‘reluctantly have had to let me go’.

This Brexit farce has dragged on for too long and brought us to a futile European election that will cost us millions. May I suggest that, having let down the British public so badly, MPs are made to pay for this farce out of their own pockets? I am sure this would instil some urgency into the proceedings. GEORGE ATKINSON, Redditch, Worcs.
