THEY have taken pains to keep a lid on their romance since it was revealed last summer.
But with a subtle hand resting on his shoulder, Lady Kitty Spencer gives the game away at last – in a gesture that publicly confirms her relationship with fashion tycoon Michael Lewis for the first time.
The 28-year-old niece of Princess Diana was spotted in step with her beau – who at 60 is more than twice her age – as they strolled through the streets of Manhattan.
Wearing a pink polo-neck jumper and colourful trousers, she accessorised with a pair of mirrored sunglasses and an enormous diamond ring on her right hand.
The display of relative intimacy comes after the society couple were photographed discreetly leaving the exclusive The Mark Hotel separately at the weekend.
Lady Kitty was seen walking out of the Manhattan hotel – where Meghan Markle staged her lavish baby shower – a few paces behind the suave businessman and owner of the Whistles high street chain. But one onlooker said the pair then jumped into the same taxi before being whisked away.
Lady Kitty was previously in a fouryear relationship with another older man – property magnate Niccolo Barattieri di San Pietro, 48, who left her in 2017 and began a romance with Liz Hurley, 53.
South African-born Mr Lewis, whose romance with Lady Kitty was revealed last August, is worth £80million and is a divorced father of three grown-up children. Lady Kitty has been spotted at his £19million central London mansion.
A cousin of Princes William and Harry, Lady Kitty has been branded the ‘naughty niece’ for her presence on the London party circuit alongside the cast of Made In Chelsea – a lifestyle she proudly documents on social media.
Lady Kitty, whose father Earl Spencer is six years younger than Mr Lewis, is often compared to Princess Diana because of their similar looks and charity work.
