THE last in the series sees North West Ambulance Service crews (among them Gary and Claire, pictured) coping with a sunny May bank holiday weekend that sees more than 18,000 calls coming in. As the mercury rises, so does the need for help with everything from road accidents and sporting injuries to a cricket spectator who has had a heart attack and has to be rushed to hospital by helicopter.
