GB’s double world champion Bianca Walkden begins her quest for a medal in the World Taekwondo Championships in Manchester today. Scottish teenager Rebecca McGowan lost 28-2 in the -73kg quarter-finals to experienced South Korean Lee Da-bin yesterday. There were also early exits for GB’s Jordyn Smith (-46kg) and Hassan Haider (-58kg).
