WHATBOOK..? SALLY HEPWORTH
. . . are you reading?
THE Things We Cannot Say by Kelly Rimmer, an unforgettable novel that slips between Nazioccupied Poland and modern America, weaving together two women’s stories into a tapestry of perseverance, loyalty, love and honour.
It is a truly mesmerising read that I would highly recommend.
. . . would you take to a desert island?
AM I stranded on the island? If so, The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I think Minny’s sharp tongue and no-nonsense attitude would be just what I needed to motivate me to get myself off the island.
. . . gave you the reading bug?
THE Baby-Sitter’s Club by Ann M. Martin!
. . . left you cold?
WHILE I don’t name books I don’t like (I have too much respect for the process of writing a novel to denounce anyone’s work), I will admit to having gone slightly cold on the psychological thriller genre of late.
I guess I’ve read so many of them, I’ve reached saturation point. But perhaps that’s just me! THE Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth is published by Hodder & Stoughton at £7.99
